Jon and Penelope

When we head out to the Midlands to photograph a wedding, it is generally always in the same direction, to an area we fondly refer to as the marriage meander.  It is beautiful in it’s own way in every season and a place we have grown to love.  For Pen and Jon’s wedding we drove out in a different direction and delight upon delight another beautiful area of the Midlands awaited us.

‘The Cairn Of Old Kilgobbin‘ is a stunning venue with loads of charm run by the amazing Carlene Bronner who couldn’t be more friendly/helpful/kind (take your pick) if she even tried.  Definitely a new favourite for sure!!!

Pen and Jon – you were both just absolutely lovely from the word go, so warm and generous and Pen your enthusiasm so infectious!  We loved sharing this special day with you both and wish you both every happiness for your future together.

Friday rehearsal.

Absolutely love this venue ♥

Hi Alexis, my daughter, Christine (married to Garth Cuenod), was disappointed you were booked for 16/6/2012 to capture her wedding at Old Kilgobbin. (She knew you from Barry & Ang Catlett’s wedding) Thea of Tink Photography did a great job and the winter wedding was picture perfect, with fuchsia pink & purple to contrast the browns.

It is always wonderful to look at wedding pictures taken at The Cairn, brings back wonderful memories. Your photos are stunning.

    Regards
    Sharon
