Meet Le Roux and Chloë – they are both pretty awesome people: young, full of life, kind, humble, soon to be qualified doctors and so very much in love with each other.
These two love birds met at church through a mutual friend. At first Chloë wasn’t interested, but after a few months of being pursued by Le Roux, they eventually went on their first date which lasted 7 hours, and was only the first of many! After that they became inseparable.
While we were inside shooting – storm clouds were building….
….and then the rain came down, I mean it literally pourrrrred – the roads turned into rivers for a brief moment! Rain you say!? No problem! This is how we do!
Time to snuggle up and get warm inside.
The rain stopped and we ventured out again…seriously how cute are these guys!?
The proposal story in Chloë’s own words: “Le Roux and I had discussed getting engaged, so I knew it would be coming at some point. We went away to the berg with his family, and had a mutual agreement that he wouldn’t do it during the weekend, as my family wasn’t there. One morning Le Roux and I went for a hike in a beautiful gorge. I didn’t know it, but in 2008 he had engraved his name in a heart on a tree to show that he would wait for his wife. He took me down to the river where the tree was, got down on one knee in the middle of the river, and then we added my name to the heart under his. When we got back home, he had arranged for my parents to come up and we had a huge family celebration.”
